Disco Medley, Solo jazz guitar by Jake Reichbart Thelma Houston, Communards - Don't Leave Me This Way & The Three Degrees - When Will I See You Again The purpose, or musical statement if you will, of this performance is to highlight these quite lovely melodies from the 70's, the time when I was growing up. As a jazz guitarist, especially in the solo guitar format, I chose to strip these melodies from their original disco context and perform them as a ballad, in rubato, nearly out of time/meter. Apologies to those who were looking for another "remix".
