*Sorry guys I know my chapters are coming almost every other week, but I have volleyball almost twice a day. The Finale is coming up soon! Go back to chapter 20 to refresh Anna's P.O.V (I grabbed my cell and hit speed dial 1) Nick: Hey Babe, what's up? Anna: (he sounded so happy, and that just made me madder) Why didn't you tell us?! Nick: (confused) Uh...tell you what? Anna: That you're MOVING to Texas! (Silence) Anna: (getting more upset by the minute) Great, so you're not even denying that the whole world knows, but you and Joe didn't even tell Lydia and I!! Anna: (crying now) Wow, I thought I actually meant something to you, I guess I was wrong Nick: (getting mad now) how can you say that! Of course- Anna: -you better pass on the message to your brother- Nick: Anna this is ridiculous- Anna: (not in the mood to wait for this liar)-because Lydia said she never wants to see him again Nick: (pleading and she knew he was crying too) Anna please just let me explain- Anna: (her voice soft, but firm) Goodbye Nick. (I hung up and looked over at Lydia, who was staring out the window, tears pouring down her face, I didn't want to talk to her, so I went up to my room, slammed the door and sat down on my bed) (I looked out the window, great, I could see the Jonas's house from here....I could even see his room...thinking of him just made me angry again, I grabbed my guitar and my notebook; it was the only way I could vent) Nick's P.O.V (The phone went dead, I stared at it, wiping away my tears, I hadn't cried this much since my grandmother died) ("This wasn't supposed to happen" I thought bitterly, putting my head in my hands) (Joe came into the room, with a spoon in his mouth and a cell in his hand) Joe: Roses! (Smiling to himself, answering the question we had been debating this morning) Joe: Red Rose...yes...that's good...now transportation-(then he saw my face) (I must have looked pretty bad because he freaked) Joe: Hey man, it's cool you know; we can get them tulips if you want I- Nick: -JOE (he really was unbelievable) (He got quiet and must have realized I hadn't been crying over choice of flowers) Joe: (scared) what happened? (Sitting down next to me, also looking at the phone) Joe: Who called-? Nick: -Anna (my voice cracked when I said her name) Joe: (upset) Is Lydia okay? (How was I supposed to tell him, how bad we had screwed up) Nick: (not looking his brother in the eye) they know about Texas from TV Joe: Oh shit! (He jumped up and started pacing) We were supposed to tell them at dinner, oh no, she must hate me, what did she say- Nick: -she never wants to see you again (deciding it would be better to tell him the truth) Joe: (covering his face with his hands) Double shit...Nick man what are we- Nick: I can fix this. (Standing up) I know I can, just, just wait here okay (he was out the door and Joe realized he was by himself) Joe: (looking at the door Nick had just closed) Okayy, make that a triple shit (And he went back into the kitchen coming up with a plan of his own)
