Tagging Calf with Mad Mama Standing By

My husband tags the newborn calves on our farm. This was a first calf for this particular heifer and she was being very protective. Usually he can kind of shoo the mother away while he's tagging but she wasn't going away. Then he tripped over a dirt clod as he was trying to exit the situation and it scared us just a bit. He was okay though and got the job done.
