Found this while looking at some old stuff from Iraq. This was in Late June 05 near the Flying Man Statue on Route Irish. The radio traffic is about a civillian convey that just went by us and was ambushed a few minutes before. They were shot up prety bad. Rear gunner in the SUV was dead for sure and others were tore up. If I remember right this was my first or second day out there and it was sure a wake-up. Other than that it was a nice day.
