Immigration Minister Diane Finley questioned about deportation of U.S. Iraq War Resisters in 2008 Canadian Election debate

Back

Immigration Minister Diane Finley questioned about the Harper Conservative government's deportation of U.S. Iraq War Resisters from Canada to prison in American military jails during a 2008 Election debate in her home riding, in Simcoe, Ontario. The Harper government has ignored all opinion polls, a vote in the Parliament and three positive decisions of the Federal Court and is instead working to help the Bush Administration by deporting U.S. soldiers from Canada who refuse to fight or return to the illegal and immoral war in Iraq.
