Epcot Engagement Proposal

On Thursday, September 4, 2008, I proposed to my girlfriend at Walt Disney World's Les Chefs de France restaurant, the French restaurant at the Epcot theme park. It was her birthday, and she was wearing a Disney happy birthday button. Throughout the day, cast members wished her a happy birthday, and we even got a free birthday cupcake at lunch. So when the entire staff of Chefs de France came to sing happy birthday to her, she didn't suspect that I had called a week before to order a cake with "will you marry me?" written on it. Luckily, she said yes, just in time for the nightly fireworks to start. I was able to quickly pass my camera to a waitress, and she shot this short video. I want to thank the crew at Les Chefs de France. I did not catch all of your names, but you and your manager Philippe made our special night one which we will remember forever.
