The 2008 Presidential Election is like no other election in history. Because of 24/7 media coverage through television, YouTube, texting, just to name a few, voters have access to the candidates like they never had before. Everything the candidates do and say is captured and distributed almost instantly. With all of this access, voters are now much more informed on the candidates and the issues than they have been in the past. However, the constant coverage can have a negative impact on the campaign(s) when voters have immediate entry to the candidates world when they may appear to be at their worst. Does all of this access help or hurt the candidates?
